Draughting diploma and/or 3 - 5 years experience

     ° At least 3-5 years detailing experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel for          Commercial/Industrial and up-market residential buildings is essential

° There will be considerable interaction with other team members so solid communication skills  (written and verbal) are a must.

     ° Proficient in Prokon and any CAD program such as Caddie or AutoCAD.

     ° The ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively across multiple projects.

     ° Ability to work with or without supervision successfully and work well under pressure.

     ° Candidates need to be familiar with industry terminology and standards.

• Competencies include independently preparing detailed drawings and updating specifications.
• Job involves multiple projects at any given time so attention to detail, timeline and work quality are critical.
• Prepare bending schedules and structural layouts.
• Partake in discussions and job administration (faxes, e-mails, phone calls) with clients, responsible engineer and / or team leader.
• Schedule and detail reinforcement and prepare bending schedules.
• Draughtsman must acquaint himself with a project by making sure that the instructions and time restraints are clearly understood and get clarity on all uncertainties.
