B.Sc Civ Eng / B-Tech

• A least 10 years design experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel. Experience in post–tension design would be an advantage.
• Experience in Commercial/Industrial and up-market residential buildings is essential.
• Site supervision experience in the structural environment will be an advantage 
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficient in Prokon and any CAD program such as Caddie or AutoCAD
• The ability to work to deadlines and manager time effectively, to manage people and resources effectively.
  

• Effectively manage structural design projects, assist as required and report to senior management;
• Ensure that all project quality procedures are followed;
• Preparation of preliminary and detail designs;
• Attendance on site to oversee site work as and when required;
• Liaise effectively with interal and external project teams;
• Effectively manage team as well as own time across multiple projects;
• Develop ongoing relationships with other professionals;
• Provide guidance to less experienced Structural Technicians;
• Prepare bending schedules and structural layouts;
